Pre and Postnatal Physiotherapy
Your body goes through a lot of changes both during and after pregnancy. Women’s health physiotherapy can be helpful in the management of the following:
Aches and pains in pregnancy, including back and pelvic girdle pain
Pelvic floor exercises and training for incontinence
Diastasis recti – the separation of stomach muscles that can occur during pregnancy
Postnatal pain
Guidance on returning to exercise safely
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Do you experience any of the following symptoms?
Urine leaks during coughing, laughing, running, exercising or lifting objects?
A sense of urgency to urinate and increased frequency of urination?
Sensation of a full bladder as soon as you stand up from lying?
A descending bulge in the genital area?
Pain in the genital area during urination or sexual intercourse?
These are all signs of pelvic floor dysfunction and can make life very uncomfortable. Jecy offers non-invasive, tailored treatment to help restore optimal function of the pelvic floor muscles. A combination of pelvic floor exercises which focus on strength and relaxation alongside strategies and guidance will help you to overcome these symptoms.

Post-Surgery Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy can be useful after gynaecological surgery and mastectomies to help optimise your recovery and reduce the chance of long-term side effects. We recognise these surgeries can often be emotionally as well as physically demanding and assure you that you will always be treated with sensitivity.
